ABOUT

| The Commitment |

You go to school for months or years to obtain certifications or careers. You are disciplined completing homework, assignments and studying for exams. But when it comes to your mental health or self-care, you think everything will fall together and you don't need to put fourth any effort. Unfortunately, you are not immune to trauma or adversities in your life. When they go unprocessed, you end up creating subconscious survival strategies that simply put you on autopilot, and have you living life as a passive participant. Ashley created The School of Life for people to fully understand the dedication and time needed to regain your mental health in order to regain your life. After learning and analyzing many experts’ strategies for their recommendations to live happier lives, Ashley compiled the hidden secrets, benefits and the answer to “How can I be happy?” Ashley wrote the guide, Rewire Your Brain, to educate you about the step-by-step process necessary to restore your mental health and make your life whole again. When you are treating mental health adversities or trying to find answers to your burn out or feelings of being lost, there is no quick fix. There is no medication that is going to fix all your problems. There will be temporary solutions, but they don’t fix the underlying causes. When you address the underlying causes and fix them, you no longer apply bandaids, but rather, concrete solutions that work.

Everyone is on their own unique healing journey to become whatever they want. Depending where you are on this journey, there is guidance for everyone. Society has created a culture of constant, unmanaged stress that has malfunctioned and distorted the neural pathways of the brain. It is time to reprogram them, so that you can be happier than ever before. When you take back your mind, you take back your life.

Traditionally, mental health has been viewed as weekly or biweekly talk therapy sessions. It has been seen as something that you can address rather infrequently and find a solution. However, experts such as the neuroscientist, Dr. Caroline Leaf, and Jay Shetty, the author of Thinking Like a Monk, changed the way society views mental health by stating it requires daily practice. It is with these daily practices that you can regain control of your mental health, and in essence, control of your life. You’ll discover your untold story, so that you can find peace, calmness and bliss through the good, the bad and the ugly. Thank you for starting to Take Back Your Mental Health to Take Back Your Life!
